During these 2 days, you will:
- learn the basics of Foreign Exchange;
- discover the specific charateristics of certain currencies and how to exploit them;
- how to profit from market discrepancies;
- who trades the Forex market and how to use this information in order to place orders;
- what the professional traders are looking for when they take their positions;
- where to find buy or sell orders of some big players (which will give you signals ahead of any technical analysis tools);
- how to exploit the information available from the Forex options market (the goal here is not to trade options, but to understand and place buy or sell orders on currency pairs informed by activity in the Forex options market);
- which news is very useful and which is useless (although regularly widespread in the market);
- learn how traders analyze economic figures and their impact on currencies;
- which kind of technical analysis tools professional traders use;
- risk management techniques used by hedge funds, pension funds, corporates and the impact on currency pairs (in order to know when to take long or short positions);
- discover some trading strategies used by professionals (you will come to understand their risk/reward parameters);
- develop carry trade strategies... or inverse strategies, discover the influence of the carry trade on all currency pairs (including euro/dollar);
- how to compare and choose a Forex broker objectively by analyzing their different business models. There are at least 6 ways for them to make money (a narrow bid-ask spread is not the proof of low costs but a good way for brokers to lure beginners);
- etc.
At the end of the training course, you will have learnt all the elements you must know about the Forex market and you will be able to build your own trading strategies.
A handbook containing all the topics of the course, and more, illustrated with graphs showing many specific examples of trades, will be provided. So, you won't need to take notes and you will be able to stay focused on the explanations.
During this training, you will not learn:
- about the Holy Grail, because it doesn't exist!
(The quest for the Holy Grail, by Dante Gabriel Rossetti 1860).
- In other words: you won't learn a ready-to-use trading method, even if the trainer will explain you how he places his orders in the market. It will be up to you to build your own strategy incorporating all the elements that will be taught, depending on the capital you can bet, and also according to your personality and the time you can spend trading. And anyway, because markets are constantly changing, history shows that any strategy, any system can only work for a given period. You will have to regularly adapt your strategy before it starts to fail. It means that you must FIRST UNDERSTAND THE MARKET before trading. (And if you absolutely want to find ready-to-use methods with incredible performance, there are plenty of "showmen" on the retail market (completely unknown to professional Forex traders) ready to serve you. Do not hesitate to contact them!).
The training lasts 2 days, from 9 a.m to 5:30 p.m. Lunch will be taken in a nearby restaurant, together with the professional trader and all the participants. The price of the lunch is not included in the price of the training.
